Terms of Use

Attune Effective date: August 1, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Attune Publishing LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Attune," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Attune app or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Attune surfaces Scripture, prayer, and historical Christian commentary in response to what you bring to it. All texts presented in the app come from published sources: the Bible in public domain translations, traditional liturgical texts, and the works of named historical commentators. Attune selects and sequences these texts; it does not author them.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Attune.

3. Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription.

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Pricing and period are shown in the app before purchase.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use "Restore Purchases" in the app to regain access to your subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

4. License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for your own use. You may not: resell or redistribute the service; scrape, copy, or extract the app's content library or its organization at scale; reverse engineer the app; use the service to violate any law; or interfere with the operation of the service.

Scripture and the historical texts in Attune are drawn from public domain sources; we claim no ownership over them. The selection, arrangement, and presentation of these texts, and the app itself, belong to Attune Publishing LLC.

5. Your entries

You retain ownership of what you write in the app. You grant us a limited license to process your entries solely to operate the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not publish your entries or share them with other users.

6. Not professional advice

Attune offers texts from Scripture and the Christian tradition. It is not a substitute for pastoral counseling, medical care, mental health treatment, or professional advice of any kind. If you are in crisis or facing a medical or psychological emergency, contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the passages surfaced will be suitable for your circumstances.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attune Publishing LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections 4 through 8 survive termination.

10. App store terms

If you downloaded Attune from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and Attune Publishing LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Equivalent provisions apply to Google Play where required by Google's terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
