Privacy Policy

Attune Effective date: August 1, 2026

Attune is operated by Attune Publishing LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Attune," "we," "us"). This policy describes what data we collect when you use the Attune app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.

Your entries. Text you write in the app (for example, evening reflections or descriptions of your situation), and options you select (for example, an emotion, a time of day, or an area of life). This is the material Attune uses to select Scripture, prayer, and commentary for you.

Reading history. The readings, prayers, and passages surfaced to you within the app, so you can return to them.

Subscription status. Whether you have an active subscription. Payment itself is handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card number or billing details.

Device and diagnostic data. Basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash reports, used to keep the app working.

A note on the nature of your entries

What you write in Attune may reveal your religious beliefs and your inner life. Under some privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, this is treated as a special category of personal data. We process it only to provide the service you are asking for: selecting Scripture, prayer, and historical commentary that speak to your moment. By creating an account and using the app, you consent to this processing. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

How we use your data

We do not use your entries for advertising. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your entries with other users. There are no ads in Attune.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run Attune: cloud hosting and database infrastructure, subscription management, and natural language processing that operates on your entries solely to select relevant passages from our source library. These providers process data on our instructions, for the purposes described in this policy, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data retention and deletion

Your account data, entries, and reading history are retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account). Deletion removes your account, your entries, and your reading history from our systems. Some residual data may persist in backups for a limited period before being purged.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us at misha@armaai.co. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Children

Attune is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat what you write in Attune as private and protect it accordingly.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated in the app.
